Dedication of Livermore City Council Chambers
On July 13, 2019, The City of Livermore’s City Council Chambers was dedicated after John. The chambers are called, “Dr. John B. Shirley Council Chamber.”
John Shirley on the 50th Anniversary commemoration of WWII
John introduced President Bill Clinton at the American Cemetery at Anzio-Nettuno, Italy on June 3, 1994 and spoke of the battle which he was apart of.
